As KAHRAMAA aligns its water security strategy with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the goal is to ensure water services are sustainable, efficient, and resilient. Today, water quality measurement is largely reactive, requiring samples to be sent to labs for analysis. There is a critical need for a continuous, 24/7, and proactive management system.
 

KAHRAMAA is calling on innovators to introduce AI-powered smart meters that can proactively and continuously measure water quality within the District Metered Area (DMA). Your solution should enable all-the-time contaminant management, moving beyond current non-continuous methods.


💡 Your Mission:
Create an advanced water quality intelligence solution that provides 24/7 predictive monitoring. Your solution should leverage AI-enabled dashboards to assist operators in monitoring trends and delivering real-time alerts when thresholds are exceeded. While software-based solutions are preferred, the system may include industrial-grade sensors for pH, EC, turbidity, chlorine, and temperature to ensure comprehensive data accuracy.

The Future of Aqua-Intelligence: Building a Proactive, 24/7 Predictive Water Quality Monitoring System

KAHRAMAA is seeking solution providers to develop an integrated, real-time water quality intelligence platform that unifies contaminant and quality data across the network. While KAHRAMAA has already deployed smart meters for consumption monitoring and leak detection, there is currently no system enabling continuous 24/7 water quality management. KAHRAMAA prefers solutions that are software-based but is open to evaluating full system implementations that include innovative hardware.

Your solution should combine industrial-grade sensors (measuring pH, EC, turbidity, chlorine, and temperature) with advanced analytics and predictive modeling. It must deliver actionable insights into contamination events and historical trends through AI-enabled dashboards that provide real-time alerts to operators the moment values exceed safety thresholds

The goal is to enhance public health, support smarter resource planning, and improve customer confidence through a transparent, data-driven, and scalable water management solution.

A webinar will be hosted for further details and a Q&A session with KAHRAMAA and QRDI. More details will be announced soon.

April - May 2026

KAHRAMAA and QRDI will review all proposals to identify potential solution providers.

June 2026
Shortlisted innovators will connect directly with KAHRAMAA teams for in-depth technical discussions.
July - August 2026
The final announcement of matched innovators will be made on the platform by August 2026.
