Challenge Timeline: Stay Ahead with These Important Dates and Events
Application Phase

The application phase will run from February 23rd, 2025 (UTC+3) and will end on April 14th, 2025 at 23:59pm (UTC+3). Startups are invited to propose innovative and impactful solutions to address the challenge statement.

Criteria for Application

To participate, startups need to complete the following steps:

  • Register on the platform
  • Complete the participation form
Shortlisting Phase

During this phase, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change will evaluate the proposals and the most innovative solutions will be selected to proceed to the clarification phase.

Shortlisting criteria
Innovators will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
    1.  Quality of Solution and Technical Viability (55%)
    2.  Solution Implementation (20%)
    3.  Team/Company (25%)
Juries will have until June 30th to decide which projects will move on to the next stage.
Clarification Phase
July - August 2025

During this clarification phase, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change may organize one-on-one sessions with shortlisted participants to delve deeper into their proposed solutions and address any outstanding questions.

These sessions, conducted through online calls or via the challenge platform, provide an invaluable opportunity for participants to refine their ideas based on direct feedback. The goal is to ensure a clear understanding of the proposed approaches and align them closely with the challenge objectives, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Selection & Announcement
The list of awarded innovators will be officially published on the platform by October 2025. Following the announcement, they will initiate discussions with the challenge owner to outline the next steps for refining and potentially implementing their innovative solutions.
